Red Bull Night of the Taurus – A Chicago Industry Party
Our Motivated Models had an amazing opportunity to be part of the Red Bull Night of the Taurus event this past week! The lovely ladies chosen were used to create a unique experience for 500 of the top restaurant and bar owners in Chicago during this 2012 which took place on the night of the crescent moon in the Chicago Stan Mansion.
Special effects, costumes, music, lighting, a theme like no other; it was big, bold, and unique -just like Red Bull. The mansion hosting the Red Bull Night of the Taurus event was divided into four magical and mysterious sections and each seemed like a devilish dream. Upon approaching the Stan Mansion, you notice the lights coming from the house in reds. Entering through the gate there is a long entrance way leading up to the door. It was flanked by two monster creatures towering over those walking by.
Once past check-in, the welcoming area was lined with hundreds of candles. You then had two choices, to go up or to go down. The upstairs ballroom for Red Bull Night of the Taurus was complete with a DJ, a lot of luxurious draping fabric in pale colors, mood setting lights, and ‘characters’ floating around throughout the night. There were two headed masked men dressed in all black, empresses dressed in wardrobe as if they were haunted Egyptians, and cloaked monks with deep set white eyes.

That room was flanked by a vestibule filled with a ‘mad man’ painting a mural of a burlesque masked lady laying on an ornate chaise lounge.
The room on the other side of the vestibule was filled with the color red – red lighting, red fabrics, red furniture. It was smaller in size but quieter and equally as interesting. Once the party started, the drinks flowing, and the appetizers and desserts were circulating – they opened up the basement.
This floor shaking room had the beats bumping for the Red Bull Night of the Taurus Chicago thanks to the Red Bull DJ.
At the center of the basement was another crazed scientific mad man. He was sitting on what appeared to be a flying time machine – metal tubes, handles, and sprockets all over. How unique, how strange, how interesting!
He had on a long beaked mask which looked like it was made of metal with eye goggles.
He was flanked by two slaved dancers, complete with breathing masks and long black hair.
There were ghostly figures projected on the walls as if they were eerily watching the attendees.
To the far side was a masked lady sitting motionless in a lifeless set. One thing is for sure, thank goodness they had plenty of Red Bull because the party went well until the wee hours of the night. I’m wasn’t sure what to expect when I arrived, but the Red Bull Night of the Taurus was quite an experience!
