E3 Models for BandFuse: Rock Legends
E3 models are quite busy with the E3 2012 show underway. Between the press conferences yesterday and day 1 today, the gamers are getting a good idea of what is in-store for their consoles this year. One of the much talked about games is BandFuse: Rock Legends by Realta Entertainment. http://bandfuse.com/ It is a guitar Xbox video game that is available for demo at E3 (booth 435 in the south hall). Our E3 models are there to show you the ropes and teach you a thing or two about the game and about guitar! Contact us for more information about our E3 talent 707-968-7536
There are a lot of guitar games out so what’s the big deal? Well, BandFuse takes guitar gaming to another level. They created the only product on the market in the video game industry that utilizes a real guitar (yes, you just plug your guitar in) and it is written in guitar tablature format. Tablature is what regular guitarists read so if you spend enough time playing the ‘game’ you can actually read music like the rest of the guitar world and like our BandFuse E3 models!
Kind cool? No, very cool! It scores you based on rhythm and accuracy. If you don’t hit the right note but make an attempt at the right time, you get points; if you get the right note but at the wrong time you get points; and if you get the right note at the right time you get a lot more points. If you make similar mistakes over and over again, the game intelligence can identify your weaknesses and act like a teacher, helping you improve.
The game can be integrated and played with a guitar, bass, or vocals (vocals via a USB microphone which is not included). BandFuse has different skill levels so someone that never played guitar before can start and work their way up to an advanced player. They have intro videos/levels that can teach the instrument illiterate how to hold a guitar, properly strum, and proper hand placement. Those that are advanced can fine tune their skill set. As an added feature, they have ‘Free Jam’ and ‘Jam Along’ sessions that allow you to create your own music or play with backtracks or vocals respectively. The songs you create can be shared via social media with a click of a button (ingenious)!
Some of the songs available include “You Oughta Know” (Alanis Morissette) – “Jessica” (The Allman Brothers Band) – “No Rain” (Blind Melon) – “Godzilla” (Blue Oyster Cult) – “Yellow” (Coldplay) – “Sugar, We’re Goin Down” (Fall Out Boy) – “The Bleeding” (Five Finger Death Punch) – “Hemorrhage” (Fuel) – “Barracuda” (Heart) – “Drive” (Incubus) – “Breaking the Law” (Judas Priest) – “Cult of Personality” (Living Colour) – “Sweet Home Alabama” (Lynyrd Skynyrd) – “Harder to Breathe” (Maroon 5) – “I’m Broken” (Pantera) – “Alive” (Pearl Jam) – “Jessie’s Girl” (Rick Springfield) – “Limelight” (Rush) – “Back From Cali” (Slash) – “Should I Stay or Should I Go” (The Clash) – “Stellar Revival” (The Crazy Ones) – “Reptilia” (The Strokes) – “Roundabout” (Yes).
The infamous Slash is the face of the game and it is geared towards rockers with a lot of edgy songs. They are constantly adding functionality and with the public retail launch date set for January 2013 they are eager to get more feedback from people at E3. Swing by their amazing booth #435 in the south hall complete with our rocking guitarists / E3 models to try your hand at this revolutionary Xbox game!
