CES Models are Counting Down to the 2013 show!

It’s just about a month away and our CES models, talent, and entertainers are counting down the days to the 2013 show in Las Vegas! It’s a joy to work with some of the biggest companies in the tech industry, start-ups with cutting edge technology that will change our everyday lives, and all the after parties where our ambiance models can rub elbows with some of the most forward thinking individuals in society.  We LOVE tech and our talent does too!

If you are exhibiting at the show for the first time, here is what you can expect:

  • Lots of people! The first and second day of the show are slammed.  The better your booth location, the more people will cross your path. The third day is a bit slower and the fourth day is by far the slowest (as one would expect).
  • Bloggers! There will be a lot of media covering the show – as an exhibitor you should take advantage of it! Schedule meetings in advance with bloggers in your niche to cover your products.  Anticipate that bloggers will come by to check out your product. When they do, have an idea of what products you want to cover and have your elevator pitch down on each of those products.  We suggest appointing the most enthusiastic person to handle all media coverage (we can staff a tech savvy PR demo model for you as well).
  • Lots of parties. Yes, this is a work function but as any good salesman knows, business tends to get done outside the office. Be prepared to wine and dine your clients, expect to attend various networking, industry, and show parties; and get plenty of sleep before CES as you will not have that much during it.
  • Traffic is horrid. Taxi lines are long, shuttle lines are long, monorail lines are long, and dinner reservations (for the good restaurants  need to be made in advance as do your hotel reservations.  Plan ahead of time and leave a cushion to get to and from your hotel, convention center, and restaurants – you will need it.
