CES 2015: The Internet of Things
According to our talent, CES 2015 is about The Internet of Things! The Internet of Things (IoT) refers to devices of all sorts that are being connected to the internet and their counterparts – smart phones, as well as interconnect with each other. They break the bounds of communication and talk to each other then interact with us, their owners, humans. It is amazing to witness an evolution happening before your eyes, a massive amount of companies from all different sizes (start-up to fortune 500) and stages that arrived at the same conclusion around the same time – now. Everyone is putting their devices online, giving consumers control in the palm of their hand and the tip of their fingers, wherever they are – despite where the devices are located.
We are lucky enough to have our talent representing some of these cutting edge, ‘Internet of Things,’ clients at the International CES®. Our trade show talent will assist them on the show floor during CES 2015 by demonstrating their cool new, interconnected products to potential buyers as well as potential consumers and media. Our CES trade show models will be answering product questions, presenting, and generating leads.
What are they representing this year? What are some cool new products at CES 2015? Here are a few companies showcasing devices in the Internet of Things space we really enjoy and think you will too!
TempTraq by Blue Spark Technology (Sands Expo Booth #74837): an easy way to get up to the second data on your cell about your child’s temperature from a flexible sticker like device that is disposable and has movement like a band aid so they won’t even know it’s there!
If that wasn’t cool enough, check out Healbe GoBe – it’s a wearable device in the form of a watch that will track calories consumed without you, the consumer (no pun intended) having to input data. It essentially measures the amount of water loss by cells which can be extrapolated and used to approximate calories consumed. Granted, the data isn’t in real time (seems to take at least 15 min until a few hours before all the food consumed is digested and thus can be internally measured) but in a test done during CES by the BBC, it is surprisingly accurate. This device was made possible by fans, yes – it was crowdfunded!
If you are looking for a fully immersible experience, check out Virtuix. It’s a gamer’s dream – it provides a completely virtual experience by tracking movement, direction, and execution while playing a video game. This bad boy is available and can be yours to bring your games to life (and get a workout with it) with games like Call of Duty and Battlefield 4.
