Los Angeles Brand Ambassadors – Target City Center Opening
Motivated Models provided Los Angeles brand ambassadors for the Target city center grand opening in downtown LA. The event took place during the week and was aided by heavy marketing online through social media, on the radio, mailings and flyerings. Target was offering discounts for purchases made during the grand opening event along with a host of giveaways and in person pampering experiences.
The experience was made in the details. From the decals that were placed on the windows lining the Target city center facility to the hang tags placed on the target cookies that were being distributed to attendees of the grand opening event.
All the way to the carvings on the pumpkins that lined the steps leading to the Los Angeles Target City Center.
A step and repeat with the Target logo was setup near the entrance, our Los Angeles brand ambassadors encouraged attendees to take photos that they would facilitate.
The images were shown on an iPad and could be sent via social media or emailed to the attendee in real time.
Target erected a wall for the event where the attendees, once their photo was also printed, could hang it to create a sense of community and visually see everyone that stopped by!

Because of the location of the Los Angeles Target City Center, we stationed our Los Angeles brand ambassadors on the upper level with signs to further attract attention to the Target ‘housewarming’ event as well as the complimentary concert later that evening.
Right outside the entrance Los Angeles promotional models were distributing giveaways, explaining the activities stationed both inside and outside the store, and passing out promotional coupons to encourage shopping.
Inside the store, location specific props were erected throughout the Los Angeles Target store.
We had Los Angeles promotional models at various pop up kiosks showcasing key target products that were also mirrored in the experiential marketing that was going on outside the venue in the mini make over area.
Our smiling Los Angeles food demo staff were discussing and sampling some of the Market Pantry favorites (which they quickly ran out of).
And near the children section, we had a Los Angeles promotional model interact with the children. She had temporary tattoos for the kids to wear and all the necessities to put them on. How fun!
If you walked outside and down the stairs to the venue atrium area, Target had more experiential marketing going on with stations that included more temporary tattoos for the children, food and snacks, music, an interactive pumpkin carving station and more!
The snack station had delicious treats with Los Angeles promotional models administering key tag lines attendees came to enjoy the goodies.
The mini makeovers were a big hit and featured various Target lines including Pixie and Umberto. Guests were able to take a load off in the makeup chair while a team of hair stylists did quick hair changes such as curls, crimps, and up-dos.
While makeup artists did quick makeup fixes such as lipstick, eye shadow changes and blush.
At 7pm in an seating area just outside the mall-like venue, a concert was put on for attendees of the FIGat7th Target City Center.
A world renound professional pumpkin carver joined in on the fun and worked on a Target pumpkin as the event went on. Attendees were able to check back to see the progress and it was finished before the event was over!
It was a wonderful event with the Los Angeles event talent and attendees enjoying all the amazing things Target has to offer.
